A joint meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council, Peshawar High Court Bar Association and Peshawar District Bar Association was held here which decided to continue boycott of courts in Peshawar on Monday (May 25).

However, the lawyers refuted their allegations stating that he had suffered paralysis attack few months ago and he could not even walk properly let alone attacking someone.

The meeting decided to stage a protest demonstration on Monday and block the Khyber Road till the concerned police officials were suspended and FIR registered against them. It was decided to stage a sit-in near the Chief Minister’s House for the acceptance of their demands. PDBA secretary general Saeed Khan said that in their Monday’s meeting they would also be joined by the Pakistan Bar Council.
