These days if you’re not producing a film/starring in one you’re irrelevant. Figure out the film you should be making.

ARMAAN for sure with Fawad Khan and Mahira as leads!
The GEO TV movie was okay, but I want the full length feature film for cinema, with original soundtrack would be so alluring, maybe not Murree, but Swat or Kaghan or Hunza as the scenic backdrop this time around.

@Zak When watching a film you should focus on the story and the intricacies of the local culture, you find this in abundance in Pakistani Cinema. However if all you look for is CGI than you are right about Pakistani films.

@Zak
mate watch Waar, you will not say that again. Also recently saw Dukhtar, also a good film. Traditional punjabi films are not for expat tastes, the new wave of Pakistani cinema is.

My choice would be Armaan, Aaina, Bandish, Zindagi, Salakhain and Mera Naam Hai Mohabbat, but to tell you the truth, pretty much all the films from the 70s were fantastic and each one of them can be remade with Epic Red camera.

I wish Armaan could be made Again with same Music and Songs.
It is amazing that even after 49 years of its release people still cherish it.
It is one of the best movies of all times with a simple story but superb acting, touching lyrics, soulful music & songs and sound direction.
It is Simply a Masterpiece from Geniuses.

Numerous films from the 60s, 70s and early 80s can be remade. Just love the music from these films. Would love to make Bandish and Armaan for a start.
Really fortunate to live in the UK where I and a friend have managed to collect the best quality original prints of Pakistani films which we have started to digitize.

I take great pride in being a Pakistani national, despite that fact that I have been living away for nearly fifteen years now and hold another nationality as well. However, deep down my heart, I am a Pakistani and always will be!
