KOHAT: District police officer Mohammad Sohaib Ashraf on Wednesday expelled two constables of special police force from service and ordered forfeiture of two years service of five other officials on the charges of indiscipline.

A special force constable, Mehtab Ahmed, stationed at the government girls high school, Togh Bala, for security had forcibly entered into the building, manhandled the women and used dirty language against them.

Another constable of the same force, Musawar Ali, could not give any reason for his long absence from duty. The DPO had ordered inquiries into the two cases, which proved them guilty. Consequently, they were expelled from service with immediate effect.

Also, two-year services of five policemen were forfeited and they were sent to the police lines for their negligence in a case where an armed man entered the courts building from the checkpoint and killed a murder accused in police custody. They were punished for not carrying out body search of the suspected man carrying a loaded pistol.
