GUJRANWALA: Police in an ‘encounter’ on Sunday killed a suspect involved in the kidnap and murder of a four-year-old girl.
Police said a Jinnah Road police team signalled a motorcyclist to stop at a picket near Ratta Jhal. The biker opened fire at policemen and he was killed in retaliation.
Later he was identified as Aamir Farid, a resident of Popular Nursery. Police said he was involved in kidnap and murder of Zainab, daughter of Ansar of the same locality.
