THE Quaid-e-Azam University has been ranked at 496th among the 500 best Global Universities for 2015, according to the US News and World Report. I am sure the Quaid-e-Azam’s soul will not be pleased.

Pakistan has a high youth population i.e. nearly 60 percent. But what are our priorities, the metro bus?

There is no lack of potential or competence in Pakistan. What is lacking is the conviction and political will to address the education sector’s problems.

It is unfortunate to see the nation impassive on an issue which assures the bright future and prosperity of this country.
