KARACHI/MITHI, July 13: Light to moderate showers on Saturday morning lashed parts of the Thar desert — including Mithi, Islamkot and Nagarparkar — while Karachi kept receiving scattered showers throughout the day. More rain is expected on Sunday as well, said officials of the Pakistan Meteorological Department. Around 20mm of rain was recorded in Mithi while it also drizzled in Diplo and Chhachhro tehsils. Meanwhile, five millimeters of rainfall was recorded in Thatta.
