Faisal Town is making history by partnering with Aedas, one of the world’s leading architectural practices, to design the tallest building in Islamabad’s New Blue Area - signalling a significant milestone in the country’s architectural landscape.

Faisal Town’s entry into vertical development represents a transformative moment for Pakistan’s real estate sector.

A contract signing ceremony was held at the Aedas Singapore office, during which mutual interests and a shared vision for transforming the landscape of vertical development in Pakistan were discussed. This collaboration aims to redefine urban architecture in the region. Following the ceremony, the Aedas delegation visited Pakistan to take the first steps in turning this vision into reality.

This project is poised to reshape the future of real estate in Pakistan, fostering vertical growth and modern infrastructure. The New Blue Area, with its strategic location and planned developments such as the F-8 Interchange, F-10 Intersection and Serena Hotel Interchange, is set to become a thriving hub for the corporate world.

Focus on modern-living

While the tower will be the tallest in the region, its design is about more than just height. Aedas is known for creating buildings that fit their surroundings and this project is expected to reflect that approach. The building will likely draw on Islamabad’s natural features, such as the Margalla Hills and modern city planning.

Aedas has already completed several developments with sustainability as its core principle, developments, such as Parqal in Manila and the STAR in Singapore, which leverage on passive design strategies to maximise natural ventilation and daylighting. These features help reduce energy costs and improve building performance, while also providing a better experience for those who use the building.
