Saudi is emerging as one of the top global travel destinations in 2025, offering exciting new opportunities for Pakistani travelers. The country is strengthening its accessibility and diverse experiences. The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) is enhancing travel for various segments, including solo female travelers, destination weddings, and cultural exploration.

According to STA, Pakistani talent and travelers are increasingly contributing to Saudi’s tourism and entertainment industries. In 2024, Pakistani esports players participated in the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh, competing among 1,700 players on the global stage. Additionally, the LEAP IT Expo recorded its highest-ever participation of Pakistani exhibitors, highlighting the country’s growing presence in the tech sector. The Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector has also seen steady engagement, with 37 Pakistani tourism groups taking part in various events across Saudi.

To further drive tourism, the Saudi Click Campaign will highlight the country’s diverse seasons, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural experiences. This initiative aims to attract travelers in search of unique and memorable adventures. The campaign will focus on showcasing Saudi through vibrant colours, encouraging Pakistani buyers from the fashion and media industries to choose Saudi as their next creative and business partner.

Saudi has introduced new travel initiatives to make visits more convenient. Group Inclusive Tours (GITs) offer easy group travel, while last-minute Ramadan deals provide an opportunity for visitors to experience the spiritual essence of the holy month. The e-visa for Umrah pilgrims has also simplified religious travel, allowing entry through any Saudi airport.

With a strong air network and a streamlined visa process, travel between Pakistan and Saudi is now more accessible. Visitors can explore eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, benefit from a business-friendly environment and perform Umrah without a mahram, making travel easier for all.

Beyond accessibility, Saudi offers a wealth of travel experiences catering to every kind of visitor:

  • Aseer Region offers a cool summer retreat with misty landscapes,
    highlands, and green valleys.

  • Taif is known for its rose gardens and the Cable Car Adventure, which provides panoramic mountain views.

  • Jeddah, a coastal and cultural hub, features Al Balad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with historic souks and architecture. The city also has a diverse marine ecosystem, the Jeddah Biennale and the Jeddah Corniche.

  • Riyadh hosts Riyadh Season in winter, with events like Boulevard World. Diriyah, the historic birthplace of Saudi, offers insights into the country’s past while the surrounding desert provides unique landscapes.

  • AlUla is home to significant historical sites, including Hegra (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Elephant Rock and Maraya, the world’s largest mirrored building.

Saudi is set to transform luxury travel with the launch of exclusive resorts like Six Senses Southern Dunes, JW Marriott, and 7th Reserve—the world’s seventh Ritz-Carlton Reserve, alongside the newly opened Shebara. These high-end resorts offer a unique seaside experience, combining luxury with sustainability.

With top-notch hospitality and easy access, Saudi is becoming a popular destination for Pakistani travelers. From rich history and adventure to a range of accommodations—affordable stays to luxury retreats; there’s something for everyone. As a growing hub for sports and business, Saudi is attracting more visitors and strengthening global partnerships.
