Prime Minister Imran Khan wrapped up his three-day visit to the United States on Wednesday, with the overall sentiment largely centred around viewing it as a "diplomatic win" for Pakistan.
As the premier returns home from the arguably successful trip, we take a look back at some of the key events that shaped the visit.

Its appear that Pakistan is coming out of isolation and playing role as a regional player and now its strategical position and importance is well recognised by the world. Playing very well to gain the lost glory of Pakistan. We wish that difficult decisions taken should bear fruits as we have suffered a lot and now some of the consensus to be build on Foreign economic and education policies which should not be derail due to the change in Governments.

Very well presented Pakistan case and very well acknowledge by the state. It shows the wise leadership commitments to move forward and taking the central stage in resolution of various issues faced by the world, like Afghanistan, Kashmir, Iran and offered full support for resolutions. Kashmir issue need resolution if not by lateral it should brought in all forum as it is a flashpoint and can ignite at any point of time and will cause a great loss to humanity. It is responsibility of the world to play their positive role for the resolution and both the countries should make resolve for the settlement of the issue according to the wishes of the peoples of Kashmir. We should engage in business and trade to reduce the cost of living and provide the comfort to the peoples of the region.

IK is an amazing personality. A clean, straight talking and honest man, who holds country's interest supreme. He is gift to Pak from God. As I keep saying leaders like IK are born once in thousand years. I wish he was at the center stage 5 to 10 years back then Pak would not have been in such a mess.
It is a matter of time before the world will bow to IK. If all Pakistanis follow in IK's footsteps i.e. make an honest living plus live within their means instead of looting and taking bribes then that day is not far when the green passport will be respected all over the world.
Pakistanis need to understand that just like IK, they need to love the country more than themselves and should always strive to do the right thing and uphold the law no matter what plus be a thorn in the throat of those who dare try to do wrong or mess with Pak.

Congratulations to IK on conclusion of a very successful state visit to the US. The pictures & the body language of all those present displays a lot of positive feedback to political charisma of our PM. Let us hope that this visit proves to be an ice breaker in the past frigid relationship between two great nations of the world. Definitely Pakistan can & should play its vital role in bringing peace in Afghanistan suffering unending suffering to this it’s people during the last 4 decades. Similarly US could & should reciprocate by using its influence an a superpower & world most important country in mediation to bring both India and Pakistan to the negotiation table & help resolve a 7 decades old burning Kashmir dispute to a better end for all.
This miracle happening, for sure, will relieve 1.3 billion people of the subcontinent from anxieties of a nuclear war and give them a chance to future generations of both countries to live peacefully to bring peace and prosperity to the region.

In diplomacy actions speak louder than words, pictures or sweet talk.
PM not being received at the airport shows what importance host gave to this visit.
Pakistan has given a blank cheque to USA by saying both countries are on the same page and common objectives, which means Pakistan will do what USA wants without being asked
Pakistan did all the talking and did everything to make the host happy but got in return nothing concrete.
USA realized that it can not take Pakistan at face value so the success of the trip depends on sincerity of Pakistan in actions

Poor PM. It's pretty much embarrassing and insult for Pak PM. Nobody came to receive him in the airport. Only Pakistani Americans and Pakistan foreign minister received him in the US airport. This shows the difference between IK and Modi. IK accepted that there are 40 active millitant groups in Pak. Which is good thing that he accepted and Pak won't get any respect outside world unless until they take any strict action against these millitant groups. This is the time to wake up call for Pakistan. All the best.

The problem with a lot of Pakistanis is that they measure success by how much money the PM was able to secure from the host and I don't blame them because that is how things been in the past i.e. every time a Pak leader visited US, he/she put the begging bowl in front of US and US put some money in it then he/she declared the visit as success and Pak celebrated as now they don't have to pay taxes. What Pakistanis did not understand is that their leader just sold Pak's soul and Pak is obliged to do whatever the US demands i.e. Pak lost all the respect and became a US slave
However, IK showed how things can be done with respect. US was expecting IK to beg as usual but was completely taken aback when he demanded that US-Pak relations should be based on mutual respect and friendship. As IK said it is ok for one friend to be rich and the other poor. IK is ok to live within his means and that is how you get respect and if all Pak follow in IK's footsteps then trust me investment will follow
