Telenor Pakistan’s #ShareYourMeal campaign, aimed at bringing food on the table of those who are less fortunate in our society, concluded in a graceful ceremony in Karachi.

The on-ground leg of the campaign was executed in Peshawar, Quetta, Islamabad and Lahore, earlier this month. This is the 4th consecutive year that Telenor Pakistan has successfully run this campaign and contributed towards fighting hunger in the country.

This year, the campaign’s tag-line "Iss Ramzan koi plate khali nahi jayegi" helped spread the message across through a DVC, followed by an intensive digital campaign. The campaign reinforced the company's commitment to making a meaningful contribution towards those in need.

The #Shareyourmeal campaign also received a lot of earned mileage this year from various social media influencers who worked closely with the brand to propagate the campaign's message.

Here's a look at few social media influencers furthering the cause:

Since 2015, the #ShareYourMeal campaign has contributed to the fight against hunger in Pakistan. Against every picture of Sehr and Iftar meals shared by the public on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the #ShareYourMeal hashtag, Telenor Pakistan has pledged to donate a meal to the ones in need.

The proceeds of the 2018 campaign were used to distribute food rations to thousands of people in Quetta, Peshawar, Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi, with the support of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society.

“We extend our sincerest gratitude to the people of Pakistan for making #ShareYourMeal a massively successful campaign via different social media platforms this year, which resulted in serving more than 3000 beneficiaries,” said Irfan Wahab Khan, CEO of Telenor Pakistan.

“We are here to empower the Pakistani society and help it fight its longstanding challenges that include hunger and poverty. #ShareYourMeal is our humble contribution to fighting these challenges and bringing food to the deserving in the holy month of Ramazan,” he concluded.

Previously, Telenor Pakistan started the #TweetAMeal campaign in 2015 which asked people to Tweet pictures of their Ramazan meals. As a result, donations were made against each tweet to those who need them the most.

In 2016, Telenor Pakistan, collaborated with Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal to distribute food supplies to impoverished families in Thar, one of the most neglected areas of the country.

In 2017, the campaign name was changed to #ShareYourMeal and Telenor Pakistan began its collaboration with the Pakistan Red Crescent Society to disburse food rations to thousands of people in the hunger-stricken city of Bannu.
