China wins International Nautical Competition held at Karachi Harbour

China won the International Nautical Competition held in Karachi by the Pakistan Navy, read a statement issued by the force's media wing on Friday.

The naval teams that participated in Pak Navy's second International Nautical Competition included Sri Lanka, China, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Pakistan Naval Academy and Pakistan Marines Academy.

The three-day long tournament included swimming and lifesaving races in Naval Physical Training and Sports Complex PNS Karsaz as well as seamanship race and sailing competitions at Karachi Harbour.

China won the tournament with four gold medals while UAE declared was the runner-ups.

Commander Karachi Rear Admiral Ather Mukhtar, who was the chief guest, distributed trophies and prizes amongst the winners.
