I heard Imran saying to Hamid Mir in an interview that 35 punchers allegation election rigging by Najam Sethi which I said in the Past was a "joke". Now he started it again. I hope our politicians have some dignity.

Well done sethi! Strong leadership needed to ban players and make PSL a clean tournament and Sethi is showing this. Always support Imran khan but he is wrong to criticise Sethi on this one.

I believe trying to make this event a very high profile as apparently seen in the opening ceremony made this event very approachable to the players for bookies. Disappointing to see once again the Pakistani players involved in such crimes. It seems the illiterate players were unable to learn a lesson from Amir,Salman and Asif.

@Usman , everyone with any sense knows Sethi's role in election. In this system everything can't be proved in the court of law.

(b) by your logic that everything cannot be proven in court, then if courts charge PM Sharif guilty, then may be he is actually innocent as his innocence could not be proved in a court of law. Corruption in anything affects the mindset of the masses. After watching corrupt people with lots of money which they are not entitled to today everyone from the general public wants to make money without thinking the results it will have at the national and international level. It is for the people at the top to think about ways to eliminate corruption otherwise one day it will the elite who will be extinct.

It is Najam Sethi who made this tournament a great success. Also if Najam Sethi would be corrupt then he will not be ordering the inquiry of anybody. The point is that Imran Khan is jealous of everybody and he is ready to bash his opponents whenever the opportunity will arise.

Cricket legend Imran Khan is 100 percent right about Najam Sethi (NS). In fact, NS has no credentials whatsoever about cricket directly or indirectly, explicitly or implicitly, knowingly or unknowingly. In essence, NS does not even know how to properly hold a cricket bat? As far his management education, skills, know-how and traits are concerned, the lesser said the better. It is highly unfortunate for the land and people of the "land of the pure" that this guy is running the show at PCB with zero knowledge about cricket. Regrettably, it can only happen in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan where nepotism is a cultural norm and favoritism is a social value. To tell the truth and nothing but the truth, NS is mainly at the helm of PCB only because of his close connections, direct relationship and personal affiliation with the "movers and shakers" in Islamabad. And then they ask why the heck the Pakistani cricket team does not perform at the international level? What a silly joke?

Stooping too low when one has already accepted that previous allegations of 35 punctures were politically motivated... IK please have some dignity and acknowledge what Sethi is trying to do for last two years for Pak Cricket.. No need to throw such remarks at time of crisis for the country..

The big joke here is that IK unashamedly accepted his earlier allegations were nothing but slander, and now when he is repeating that again, he still has some people who are supporting his stance.

Their he goes again. First Imran introduced the new culture of abusive personal attacks on politicians, journalists and others, then making slanderous statements about them. The tragedy is that as a opposition leader one should give credit where it is due. Imran lowers himself to that level where you have to feel sorry for him. He is not fit to be a leader.

Immediately after IK allegations, Sethi filed defamation case in court. For last 2 years IK is using delaying tactics in the case instead of contesting. We definitely need to improve our defamaton laws.

As Muslim, we all know that making false allegation is a great sin in Islam. Why doesn’t he act like a man and face Najam Sethi in the court of law and defend the defamation case.

What credentials make Sethi eligible for such a high position in Cricket? Those who are questioning IK's views should ponder before making any comments. I would say it's unjust to punish these Players while NS keeps his position as a Patron and Sethi is controlling cricket board. Sethi's statement that no more cricketers will be punished sounds as if he had prior knowledge and info about contacts the cricketers made with the bookie, if so why did he wait for the start of PSL-2 to make a move?
