Siblings: Mehran Arshad (15), Aina Arshad (10), Anmol Arshad (7), Zaryan arshad (3)

A quiet and polite child, Adnan Arshad Khan was loving, caring, obedient and respected by others.

Adnan was close to his mother and shared all his problems with her. His younger siblings, Mehran and Anmol who were both students at APS escaped the attack.

Mehran says Adnan was a capable athlete and loved to play cricket and football. The boys played cricket in front of their home every day. Mehran's favourite players on the national cricket team were Muhammad Hafeez and Misbahul Haq, whose style he emulated. He says Adnan was a good bowler, batsman and shooter.

Adnan enjoyed playing computer games, with Need For Speed and Grand Theft Auto among his favourite titles. He was also an expert at computers, his family members say. A few days before the attack happened, his computer RAM stopped working and he had requested his father for more RAM.

The teenager was fond of junk food, especially burgers and chicken. His brother says Adnan would often ask him to buy him burgers and chips.

He was preparing to attend a Murree cadet college.

He tried to get out of going to school on the day of the attack, as his exams had already finished, but his parents did not let him skip classes.

His father says the family finds it difficult to forget a single moment they spent with Adnan. His parents are still in grief after the loss of their son.
