Haris returns to the attack and is welcomed by Dube with a crashing four through the offside before Varma punched one past the pacer for another boundary two balls later. Varma then swats him for six off the last ball. Big over for India, 17 runs coming from it. Pakistan have let the momentum slip away.

Saim gives away little, and the over might have ended with a wicket, only if wicket-keeper Mohammad Haris was quicker with his gloves.
Varma knicked one and tried to get two but would have been gone for all money had Haris collected that cleanly.

The wicket Pakistan had been searching for so long finally arrives thanks to Abrar. Samson chased at a ball turning away from him and got a leading edge that was snapped up by Sahibzada at backward point. Just two runs come off the over.

Shubman Gill got the second boundary of the Indian innings, but the pressure Pakistan had built up got to him, and he found a leaping Haris at mid-on. Pakistan have turned it on.

2.3: Shaheen strikes to remove the Indian skipper! Salman takes a diving catch at mid-off, but Surkyakumar is unmoved.
He has to go after the replays show that the Pakistani skipper had taken that one cleanly!

Pakistan have shot themselves in the foot. They were off to a sensational start thanks to Sahibzada Farhan, with a huge total in sight.
But the middle and lower order collapsed spectacularly and with it, India’s constriction kept getting tighter until they squeezed the life out of Salman Ali Agha’s men.
The Men in Green lost their last nine wickets for 33 runs — a momentous collapse with few parallels.
There was also a poor show of sportsman’s spirit by the Indian captain Surkyakumar during the Pakistan batting innings when he appealed for an obstruction to the field by Pakistan skipper.
The replays showed clearly that there was no such intent by Salman.
Pakistan have to play out of their skins if they are to win this one.

Haris Rauf’s four off the first ball he faced ignited some faint hopes that Pakistan would be able to get a total of about 160 but Bumrah sent his off-stump flying three balls later. The Indian pacer mimics Haris’ gestures from the last game in giving him a send-off. Pakistan’s hopes now rest on Nawaz’s shoulders.
