Pepsi partners with PCB to make cricket accessible to girls
In Lahore, a city where cricket is deeply rooted in culture, Pepsi launched more than just a campaign. At the historic LCCA Ground, in partnership with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Pepsi introduced the Pepsi Playboard, an initiative aimed at making cricket more accessible to girls.
This event marked a meaningful step towards greater inclusion in a sport that has not always provided equal opportunities. For many years, young girls passionate about cricket have had limited resources, often sharing equipment or using kits that were not made for them. The Playboard aims to change that.

By providing cricket gear designed specifically for girls, Pepsi is supporting their right to play and compete. This initiative reflects a broader commitment to levelling the playing field and encouraging participation.
The launch event featured voices from across media and sport, including journalist Zainab Abbas, actress Hareem Farooq and members of Pakistan’s women’s cricket team. They spoke about the challenges they have faced and the progress being made.

Pepsi’s leadership outlined their long-term vision for the project, focusing on its potential impact rather than short-term attention. The Playboard is a step towards building a more inclusive future for cricket in Pakistan.
