Cnergyico’s Azm-e-Pakistan campaign is encouraging us to spread positivity through small acts of kindness
"Pakistan’s economic and political situation isn’t stable right now."
We often hear statements like these every time we turn on the television, listen to the radio, or browse through social media platforms.
It is important to be aware about the country’s situation, but the constant bombarding of distressing news does more harm than good.
Luckily, there is a simple solution that Cnergyico PK Limited, one of Pakistan’s biggest petroleum companies and the operator of the country’s largest oil refinery, is highlighting in its latest marketing campaign.
Cnergyico runs Pakistan’s biggest oil refinery that can process up to 156,000 barrels of crude oil per day. The company also has a growing network of over 450 petrol pumps situated all across Pakistan and it operates Pakistan’s first and only Single Point Mooring (SPM) facility, which is a mobile jetty located in the deep sea that works as a crude oil terminal.
Cnergyico’s campaign is much needed, given that negative attitudes often have a spiraling effect and breed even more negativity. In fact, if left unchecked, it can impact people’s mental attitudes which in turn can affect their health, careers, and family lives.
To fight against this problem, Cnergyico suggests that everyone in Pakistan must come together and concentrate on doing just one simple act of kindness. This can be something as little as wearing a smile.
Such acts require practically little to no effort, no cash, and only take a few moments. The impact, however, is always far-reaching.
And there can be no better time to do it than on our country’s Independence Day.
Cnergyico’s Azm-e-Pakistan campaign seeks to motivate people to take a pledge that they will do a small act of kindness to bring joy to someone else’s life. That someone else could be a stranger or a family member, but as long as it brightens an individual’s day, our modest gesture will be worth it.
Cnergyico’s message in the current marketing campaign is that everyone, no matter rich or poor, can make positive contributions every day.
The company ran its renowned 'Pyara Pakistan, Hamara Pakistan' campaign on the previous Independence Day in which it aimed to spread positivity by highlighting the beauty of Pakistan. This time around, Cnergyico wants to encourage people to do good deeds, no matter how small.
From helping someone cross the road to helping our elderly neighbours with grocery shopping to giving words of comfort to someone who is depressed or under stress to clearing out trash from a street and re-connecting with long-lost friends or relatives – these simple acts of kindness and generosity can have a lasting effect.
These gestures might not look significant, but no act of kindness is too small. On the contrary, they can be just as meaningful as any grand gesture.
Moreover, if we keep an eye out for opportunities to do good deeds, we start to think about others, about the planet, and about our role in God’s beautiful world.
It widens our perspective and opens our eyes to a whole new world – a much more kind, caring, and compassionate world.
In fact, numerous scientific studies have shown that doing one simple good deed a day helps keep a person genuinely happy.
This means that a simple act of kindness is essentially a win-win situation for both parties involved. More importantly, by spreading joy and happiness around us, we as a nation can get rid of negativity and help lift the morale of citizens all around.
