Will the rumour mills ever chill? Hasn't seemed like it for a very long time.

The latest celebrity to be subject to chaos and invasion of privacy is Sanam Jung — who recently took to Instagram to shun all gossip surrounding a broken marriage.

While many were heartbroken and others critical of the fact that Jung was getting a divorce from Qassam, her husband of nearly six years, the Dil-e-Muztar star denied any truth to the statements.

"I would just like to clarify that there is no truth to these rumours about Qassam and I splitting up. This rumour started from a fan comment on my insta post and it’s completely ridiculous," she posted. "I didn’t plan on posting any kind of clarification or explanation but Qassam and my family have been getting concerned phone calls almost daily about this pressing issue."

"Qassam and I are happily married and are about to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary next week. I would really appreciate if people stop posting these false rumours," she added, saying that the duo is looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together.

Sanam also took this opportunity to remind audiences that celebrities, like everyone else, are people with feelings and families, and in the midst of hearsay and unconfirmed tittle-tattle, should be respected for the right to a personal life.

"It is my sincere request to you all to not instigate such rumours and claim their truth without any factual knowledge. This is a very serious accusation at someone’s family and we have all been very distressed because of this silly rumour. Please have some empathy for our families as we are real people too!" Jung concluded.

For all the Sanam fans out there, relax, there is no split happening.... not that it is anyone's business anyway.

When people have nothing worth while to say or do in life, they talk about others and create meaning less stories. You gain nothing , but may end up hurting some.
