Here's why Careem is going to offer free rides for a year to a lucky few

Careem users in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad have a chance to win free rides for an entire year.

You may have seen it on your newsfeed — last week, someone spray painted a Careem billboard on Korangi Road, demanding free rides.

Most of Karachi's walls have political slogans or advertisements, but this namaloom vandal wanted free Careem rides.

Karachiites could relate to this and immediately started showing support on Twitter, asking for free rides too.

Careem has responded to the request of its users and will be giving away free rides to Careemers in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad for an entire year.

According to Careem, those who hail the most Careem rides using the promo code FREE365 between October 14 and October 28, 2017 will be eligible to win free rides for the entire year.

Careem is an app-based ride hailing service currently active in multiple cities of Pakistan and the Middle East. The company has recently introduced bikes to its fleet of vehicles.

Careem always moves and only cares about their customers/Riders It would be great if they start thinking about their captains and vendors as well Whenever there is a dispute only customer/Rider is facilitated. No regulatory authority for fares and careem is doing what they like to do. At first they introduced reasonable rates , when great number of people invested in it, they started to decrease the shares which is heavily effecting investors in careem in SHORT BIASED MANAGEMENT OF CAREEM FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY Totally biased

Careem is giving an excellent service and lot of people now prefer Careem rides. Though in the market, numbers of competitors are in operation, but in a very short period of time, Careem has made a very best reputation not only in Pakistan but also in the Middle East. We request the Careem management to keep it up and pray Almightily Allah for its continued prosperity.

Careem and Uber charge so less fare and have reduced their bonus for vendor/driver. this is exploitation simply. a rickshaw will charge 500 and they will charge < Rs 250 Careem wants acceptance rate of 90% for bonus of Rs 3000 with 11 hours and 14 rides which is unfair and must be re-looked

@Mohsin Nasir : yes agreed with you now Careem are not cheap Riders for customers, bcs they have many head of different charges they are not cheap is similar to other charges, Careem now charging like (STARTING CHARGES, MOVING CHARGES, WAITING CHARGES, ETC and matching with other competators. Careem are not cheap but costly.

I am convinced this wasn't a 'namaloom' vandal. Getting to that height and spray painting so cleanly! Nice campaign idea Careem. Saw the billboard yesterday, certainly caught the eye.

@YOusuf With due respect sir if a customer is abusing a captain and not paying the whole fare, a captain immediately calls careem that customer is abusing me and not giving me whole fare. The careem management ask the driver to politely request the customer to pay the rent and ignore his behaviour.(Advice appreciated and well taken) . Still the customer dosent pay full and leaves the car smashing the door. Customer ID is still working. Next Moment the same customer calls careem and says the captain misbehaved. Without any investigation careem fines the captain 1000Rs and blocks the ID for 1 DAY. BIASED MANAGEMENT AT ITS PEAK

@Ahmad Husain UAE Sir i guess you are in UAE by your name but in pakistan the dynamics of careem are way different. Regulatory authority is must because many people have invested a great amount in it but not getting their returns as they were getting in earlier 6 months We should think about the car owner and the driver as well.
