PTI-backed candidate Khurram Shahzad Virk has won the NA-115 seat from Sheikhupura with 130,255 votes, according to provisional results released by the ECP.
PML-N leader Javed Latif is second in the lead with 94,144 votes.
PTI-backed candidate Suriya Bibi has made history by becoming the first woman to win the PK-01 seat from Chitral with 18,914 votes. She defeated JUI-F’s Shakeel Ahmad, according to provisional results released by the ECP.
Speaking to Dawn.com earlier, Bibi said her decision to foray into politics was the result of the “marginalised state of women in the remote and backward areas of Pakistan in general and in my own constituency Chitral in particular”.
“After a thorough contemplation on the prevailing issues in my constituency, I realized that it was only the woman’s role in the development of the society that had been neglected and discouraged for decades again and again,” she said.

PTI-backed candidate Syed Ali Raza Gilani has won the NA-137 seat from Okara with 131,925 votes, according to provisional results released by the election commission.
The runner-up is PML-N’s Rao Muhammad Ajmal Khan with 105,381 votes.
PML-N candidate Riazul Haq has clinched the NA-136 seat from Okara with 127,764 seats, according to provisional results released by the election commission.
PTI-backed candidate Rao Hasan Sikander is second in the lead with 80,069 votes.

PML-N’s Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry has clinched the NA-106 seat from Toba Tek Singh by a close margin with 137,629 votes, according to the provisional results released by the ECP.
The second in the race is PTI-backed candidate Khalid Nawaz.
PTI-backed candidate Usama Hamza has won the NA-105 seat from Toba Tek Singh with 138,194 votes, according to provisional results released by the election commission.
The runner-up is PML-N’s Chaudhry Khalid Javed with a little over 107,000 votes.
PML-N’s Malik Shakir Bashin Awan has won the NA-87 seat from Khushab with 117,773 votes, according to provisional results released by the ECP.
PTI-backed candidate Omar Aslam is second in the race with 108,308 votes.
PTI-backed candidate Osama Maila has won the NA-83 seat from Sargodha II with 136,566 votes, according to provisional results issued by the ECP.
The runner-up is PML-N’s Mohsin Nawaz Ranjha with 98,700 votes.
PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has won the NA-76 seat from Narowal with 136,279 votes, according to provisional results released by the election commission.
PTI-backed Javed Kholoon is second in the race with 109,309 votes.
PPP Senator Sherry Rehman has alleged that party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s votes have gone “missing” in the NA-127 constituency of Lahore, blaming the blockage of mobile phone services for the “chaos”.
She recalled that the party was not provided with s Form 45 until 10pm yesterday and was not allowed to meet the returning officer.
“Until now, we have not received the consolidated result […] the results have been changed,” Sherry claimed.
PML-N leader Bilal Azhar Kiyani has won the NA-60 seat from Jhelum with 99,948 votes, according to provisional results released by the ECP.
The second in the lead is PTI-backed candidate Hassan Adeel with around 90,000 votes.
PML-N’s Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has won the NA-56 seat from Rawalpindi V with 96,649 votes, according to provisional results released by the ECP.
PTI-backed Shahriyar Riaz is second in the race with 82,613 votes.
PML-N’s Raja Qamar Islam has won the NA-53 seat from Rawalpindi with 72,006 votes, according to the provisional results released by the ECP.
PTI-backed candidate Ajmal Sabir Raja is second in the lead with 58,476 votes.
PML-N candidate Malik Sohail Khan has clinched the NA-50 seat from Attock II with 119,075 seats, according to provisional results released by the election commission.
PTI-backed candidate Eman Tahir is second in the lead with 109,186 votes.
PML-N’s Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has won the NA-47 seat from Islamabad II with 102,502 votes, according to provisional results issued by the ECP.
The runner-up is PTI-backed candidate Shoaib Shaheen with 86,396 votes.
Information Minister Murtaza Solangi has claimed that neither internet services nor social media platforms were blocked yesterday.
“The suspension of internet services was not introduced in Pakistan […] it has happened in the US, Britain and even our neighbouring country,” he stated. “No one has fought terrorism as much as we have.”
Interior Minister Gohar Ejaz said the nation has no idea about the kind of threat Pakistan and the intelligence agencies were facing at this moment.
“Not just proactively, not just through sacrifices, they are always looking to ensure the security of the people […] I am responsible for this,” he said, referring to the decision of closing down mobile phone services on election day.
“Even if one incident took place, thousands of lives would have been lost […] in my opinion, the 12-hour-long difficulties we faced are worth it,” Ejaz added.
“The armed forces, Levies and police have played their role. I am confident that the election commission will also fulfil its role,” he added.
MQM-P candidates Javed Hanif Khan and Hasaan Sabir have won Karachi’s NA-233 and NA-236 constituencies, respectively, according to the provisional results issued by the ECP.
Hanif won 103,967 votes, with PTI-backed Mohammad Haris as the runner-up in his constituency.
In NA-236, Sabir was the winner with 38,871 votes with PPP’s Muhammad Muzammil Qureshi in the second place.
The caretaker government has said the decision to close mobile phone services on the election day was “not an easy decision”.
“We knew there would be noise from every side over the decision, but I would take this decision again if I had to,” Interior Minister Gohar Ejaz said in a press conference alongside Information Minister Murtaza Siolangi and others.

PML-N candidate Raja Osama Sarwar has won the NA-51 seat from Murree with 149,250 votes, according to the provisional results released by the ECP.
TLP’s Javed Akhtar Abbasi is the runner-up with 31,809 votes while independent candidate Raja Khurram Zaman is in the third position with 2,966 votes.
PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur has emerged victorious on the NA-44 seat from Dera Ismail Khan with 93,443 votes, according to the provisional results released by the ECP.
JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman is second in the lead with 59,922 votes while PPP’s Faisal Karim Kundi is in the third position with 35,567 votes.
