KARACHI, Dec 7: As many as 370 candidates would be offered admissions in the disciplines of electronics, chemical, architecture, metallurgy and industrial engineering for the coming academic session at the Dawood College of Engineering and Technology (DCET) Karachi.
The principal of the institution, Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Chaudhry, on Friday said that 80 seats would be offered on self-finance basis.
He said that last date for the submission of admission forms was December 20.
The forms are available at the designated branches of the National Bank in various parts of the country on payment of Rs800 each.
Prof Chaudhry said that the entrance test would be conducted by the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) on January 13 in Karachi and Islamabad.
The classes of the new entrants at the DCET are expected to commence either by the end of the next month or towards the beginning of February.
Prof Chaudhry said that the DCET was currently affiliated with the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology.—APP
