ISLAMABAD, Dec 5: Pakistan on Wednesday expressed the hope that the agreement signed in Bonn on interim authority in Afghanistan would usher in an era of peace and stability in the war-ravaged country.

Pakistan also extended its felicitations to the Afghan people and the United Nations on the agreement, says a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Pakistan would continue to extend full support and assistance to the UN-mediated political process for the restoration of durable peace in Afghanistan.
