KARACHI: Man commits suicide

KARACHI, March 20: A young man committed suicide in Bin Qasim on Thursday.

The police said Adat Khan, aged 37, shot himself in the chest in his house at Bin Qasim. He was an employee of the Police Foundation.

The body was sent to JPMC for post- mortem.

ROAD ACCIDENTS: A 15-year-old boy died in a road accident in Jamshed Quarters.

The police said Ramesh, who was riding a bicycle, was knocked down by a speeding passenger coach (PE-4217) on Nishtar Road. He was rushed to a private hospital from where he was referred to Civil Hospital where he died.

The police claimed to have arrested the coach driver, Iqbal, and impounded the vehicle.

A young man died when he was hit by an unknown vehicle in SITE.

The police said Mohammed Asif, aged 35, was run over by an unknown speeding vehicle while walking across the main road at Siemens Chowrangi.

FOUND DEAD: A man was found dead in the police limits of Jackson on Thursday.

The police said an unidentified man, who appeared to be in his late 60s, was found dead behind a petrol pump. The body was sent to Civil Hospital.

An elderly man was found dead in a park at Bahadurabad.

The police said Aftab Alam, aged 75, lived in a park at Bahadurabad. On Thursday he was found dead in the park.
