ISLAMABAD, March 8: The Central Board of Revenue has transferred and posted eight collectors of customs and excise group, said a customs notification issued on Saturday.

According to the notification, chief (CP), CBR, was transferred and posted as collector of customs and central excise, Faisalabad; Umar Farooq, collector of customs and central excise, Faisalabad, as chief at CBR; collector of customs, Sambrial, Sialkot, Ahmad Dildar pasted as collector of customs, ST&CE (Adjudication), Quetta; Muhammad Zahir-ud-Din, chief CBR, as collector of customs, Sambrial/Sialkot; collector of customs (Exports), Karachi, Aftab Anwar Balooch, posted as director IOCO/chief DTRE, Karachi; Javed Kazi (awaiting posting), as collector of customs (Exports), Karachi; Muhammad Azhar Iftikhar, collector of customs, ST&CE (Adjudication), Quetta, posted as director, inspection and internal audit (customs, ST&CE), Islamabad; and S.A. Hameed as director inspection and internal audit (customs), ST&CE, Karachi.
