LAHORE, Feb 25: A mediocre six-event card has been issued for the midweek Lahore Gymkhana races to be held at the Racecourse on Wednesday.
The events are formed of runners comprising the lower divisions of the Gymkhana Class VII from Division V down to VII, to be contested over the sprinting distance of 1200m.
In all, 84 acceptors will be taking part, barring last-minute withdrawals.
In five events there are at least six or even more form horses, who are on chance and have been appearing on the board consistently. If all are tried picking the winner will become a difficult task for the backers.
The feature and fifth event, the Clifton Plate Class VII Division V A, has the lowest number of seven runners, if there are no last-minute withdrawals. This seems to be a duel between two contestants, Fair Boy and Morning Bird. Morning Bird however, has a handicap chance.
