KARACHI, Feb 19: Sindh chief Secretary K. B. Rind has said that certain complaints have been brought to the notice of the government regarding private sector computer education institutions, and these are being examined.

“Since the IT is a new department, therefore, there is a need for devising a unified policy for promotion of the IT,” he said during his meeting with education workers of the Al- Ahram Educational Society.

“No step will be taken in a haste which may create problems,” he said, adding, an effective strategy was being chalked out with the coordination of concerned officers, educational experts and other concerned people, whereby the deserving ones could genuinely get the jobs.

He said that the government was rendering an effective service towards promotion of education and establishment of new department of information technology was a good omen.—APP
