KARACHI, Feb 18: A spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has clarified that the Federal Service Tribunal has decided to rely on the recommendations of a high-powered committee with regard to pension to the ADA staff.

In a press release, he said during the meeting, after deliberation with the liquidator ADA, the pension claim was categorically denied as there was no provision in law/rules for allowing pension for service rendered in the ADA. Moreover, it was not prayed for in the appeal.—PPI
