MINGORA, Feb 11: The provincial minister for agriculture and livestock, Qari Mehmood, has said the government is planning to enforce the Islamic system in the province and a committee has been formed for the purpose to study the recommendations of the Council of Islamic Ideology.
Addressing as chief guest at the oath-taking ceremony of the Swat Journalists Forum here on Sunday, the minister said that the provincial government had given priority to improving the law and order situation and to enforce the Islamic system in the province.
The minister said that the government was also considering increasing the agricultural production and enhancing the farmers’ skills by imparting them training on how to use different machines and fertilizers.
The minister assured the journalists that he will arrange their meeting with the chief minister to solve their problems.
