KARACHI: Moot on physics education

KARACHI, Feb 6: The second international conference on physics education will be held under the auspicious of University of Karachi, the National Centre of Physics, Islamabad, and Centre of Physics Education, Karachi, between Feb 7 and 9 at the NIPA auditorium.

Scientists and experts of international and national repute will participate in the conference and issues relating to physics education at school, college and university level will come under discussion.

The conference will be inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Fahim Hussain, Director, External Activities, Abdul Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy, whereas the City Nazim will be the chief guest.

KU VC Dr. Zafar Saeed Saify will host a dinner in honour of dignitaries and participants of the conference at the department of physics. A lecture has also been arranged in the physics auditorium prior to the dinner.—PPI
