Hawkers demand market

PESHAWAR, Feb 4: The opposition leaders of the All-Pakistan Federation of Newspaper Hawkers have demanded the establishment of a newspaper market so that they could sell newspapers in an honourable manner.

Speaking at a news conference here on Monday, the opposition leaders, including Iftikharuddin Khattak, Mohammad Ayub Akhatr and others, alleged that the federation leadership had failed to convene a meeting of the federation despite the passage of one-and-a-half years.—Correspondent
