LAHORE, Feb 1: The district and sessions judge on Saturday adjourned the proceedings of drug case against Asif Ali Zardari for Feb 8 as latter could not turn up owing to his ailment.

Sub-inspector of Rawalpindi Jail produced his medical certificate saying he could not travel to Lahore to attend the proceedings. The court was to hear arguments on the accused’s acquittal application.
