BADIN, Jan 31: A large number of farmers of Matli sub-division held a demonstration in Tando Ghulam Ali on Friday to protest against the irrigation officials and shortage of irrigation water in the Pir Wah distributary.

Protesters marched through the main roads of the town.

Later, Mir Chandio, Ishaque Khaskheli and Gul Nizamani said that there had been no water in the Pir Wah for the last two years and 25,000 acres had been damaged due to the non-availability of water.
