KARACHI, Jan 25: Huzaifa Farooq and Wajahatullah ended with same number of points but the former was declared winner of the two-day New Year Optimist Championship which concluded on Saturday.

Shazil Tahir of NORE-1 finished in third place.

Secretary Pakistan Sailing Federation A. R. Arshad gave away the prizes to the winners and NSC caps to every participant.
