LAHORE, Jan 18: A three-day meeting of the Jamaat-i-Islami central Shoora started here on Saturday.

The 65-man council will discuss Senate elections, bypolls, and Iraq situation as well as endorsing reports on the internal working of the party for the last year.

On Saturday, the council adopted a resolution condemning the US law introducing compulsory registration of Pakistanis living in the United States.— Staff Reporter
