KARACHI, Dec 4: Work on the Greater Karachi Sewage Treatment Plan S-III will be inaugurated this month as the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board has finalised the project, according to a KWSB statement issued on Tuesday.

Under this project, 550 million gallons of sewage will be treated daily before being released into the sea.

President Asif Ali Zardari is expected to inaugurate the project this month, said KWSB managing director. —Staff Reporter
