KARACHI, Sept 29: Sindh Inspector General of Police Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari on Saturday reviewed the progress of investigations and lawsuits of high-profile cases in a meeting.

IG Leghari directed SSPs and investigation officers to be present in courts during the hearing of all important cases. He also instructed the investigation officers to not only be present in courts but also use their professional skills to help out in trials so thatdue punishment could be awarded to criminals.

The meeting was also attended by top officials of the Sindh police department.—APP
