KARACHI, Dec 29: A detenu who died in the Jail Hospital on Saturday was ill and expired while preparation to shift him to the Civil Hospital was under way.

The superintendent of Central Jail Karachi, Rashid Saeed, in a clarification on Sunday said prisoner Mohammad Khursheed was brought to the jail on Dec 17 for detention under MPO for 30 days. — APP
