LAHORE, Dec 28: A superb unbeaten knock of 165 by opener Rizwan Aslam helped Lahore Whites to get a 147-run lead on first innings against Gujranwala on the second day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Group-III match at LCCA Ground on Saturday.
The home side were 326 for six at close of play in reply to Gujranwala’s 179.
Resuming at 69 for one, the Whites were well served by Rizwan who cracked 21 fours in his 321-ball innings.
In other matches of the group, Sheikhupura gained a slim 12-run lead against Habib Bank Limited (HBL) at Sheikhupura Stadium. Sheikhupura scored 167 after resuming at 140 for seven in reply to the bankers’ 155.
Skipper Aamir Bashir scored 75 to help Pakistan Customs make 255 against Sialkot at Saga Ground in Sialkot.
At the stumps, Sialkot were 92 for three.
