GILGIT, Nov 20: The office-bearers of Gilgit Press Club, Ghizer Press Club, Broushal Press Club, Diamer Press Club, Gilgit Union of Journalists, Gilgit Association of Environmental Journalists, Ghizer Association of Environmental Journalists and Diamer Association of Environmental Journalists, and other journalists from all over the Northern Areas have condemned an attack on Dawn reporter Faraz Hashmi by an army major on Saturday.

They demanded immediate registration of an FIR against Major Fawad who had shown indecent and non-professional attitude by attacking a senior newsman.
