HYDERABAD: Old man shot dead

HYDERABAD, Oct 9: A 55-years-old man was shot dead in Shah Faisal colony on Tuesday following a scuffle between two groups of children in the jurisdiction of Makki Shah police station. Makki Shah police said that a brawl took place between Adil and Israr, the cousin of Mohammad Hassan, a pan cabin owner.

When Hassan and his brother, Niaz intervened in the matter to settle the issue, Israr Hussain went to his house, brought his single barrel gun and shot dead Hassan. He died on his way to hospital. Police have registered a case on the complaint of Sher Muhammad.

EXPLOSION: A mysterious explosion late Monday created panic in the cantonment area. The residents living near circular building, district council, Khokhar mohallah heard the sound as if a powerful explosion had taken place.
