HYDERABAD, Dec 12: The district coordination officer of Hyderabad has said that 22 development schemes of the provincial building division are under the implementation at an estimated cost of Rs243.62 million.
He said this while discussing the monthly progress report held on Wednesday to review the pace of development work.
He emphasized that the development work must be expedited so that the people could benefit.
DCO Mir Hussain Ali said that two schemes in the agricultural sector at an estimated cost of Rs27.36 million, 10 schemes of physical planning and housing at an estimated cost of Rs81.61 million, five schemes of education and training sector at an estimated cost of Rs41.58 million, four schemes of the health sector at an estimated cost of Rs85.38 million and one scheme of social welfare at an estimated cost of Rs7.70 million were under implementation for which an annual allocation of Rs63.60 million has been sanctioned and was being utilized accordingly.
He said 63 per cent of the funds so far released had been utilized.
