TEL AVIV, Dec 5: Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon alleged on Thursday that Al Qaeda militants were operating in the Gaza Strip.

“We have received information according to which a few Al Qaeda members have infiltrated the area and that others are in Lebanon, where they are collaborating with Hezbollah,” Sharon said at a press conference.—AFP
