Sindh AG resigns

KARACHI, Nov 8: Sindh Advocate-General, Raja Qureshi, on Friday tendered his resignation to the governor, Mohammadmian Soomro.

Raja Qureshi, who had led the prosecution side in the Nawaz Sharif and Daniel Pearl cases, did not spell out reasons for his resignation. The governor later appointed Anwar Mansoor Khan as Advocate-General after accepting the resignation of Raja Qureshi, adds PPI.
