KARACHI, Nov 7: Four shops were gutted in a fire at a shopping centre in Liaquatabad on Thursday evening.

A fire officer said that four shops were completely destroyed in a fire that started in a shop at Rafiq Cloth Market in Liaquatabad.

Five fire tenders were pressed into service to put out the fire which was brought under control within half an hour, a spokesman for the fire department said.

The fire department had not ascertained the cause of the fire and the financial loss that it caused till our going to the press.
