KARACHI, Nov 6: A judicial magistrate South remanded on Wednesday Bilal Khar, son of Ghulam Mustafa Khar, former chief minister Punjab, in jail custody till Nov 14.

Bilal threw acid on his estranged wife Fakhra in March 2000. The Punjab police arrested him a week ago. The accused was handed over to the Sindh police who took a two-day police remand.

The accused was produced before a judicial magistrate who, after the police remand expired, sent him to jail.—APP
