LAHORE, Nov 1: Celebrated batsman, Hanif Mohammad, has been appointed batting coach of the Pakistan team only for four Test matches to be played in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Lt Gen Tauqir Zia said that Hanif would be flown to Zimbabwe as soon as possible

Tauqir explained that Hanif was the best available choice to train Pakistani batsmen who lacked patience while batting.

He said that Hanif had coached some members of the Zimbabwe-bound Pakistan team at Karachi for a short period.
