SARGODHA, Oct 20: Politicians should shun their differences for smooth transfer of power, says Federal Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs Dr Khalid Ranjha.
Talking to Dawn here on Sunday, he said there was a hell of a difference in words and conduct of various politicians. “They talked about western democracy but none of them observes democratic values.”
According to him, the unity among elected politicians would make the army return to barracks.
Replying to a question, Ranjha did not rule out a coalition government represented by MMA, PML-Q and PPP.
EXCAVATION: Ranjha said the federal cabinet had taken a serious note of ‘over-excavation’ of hills by stone crushers in Sargodha region.
“Pollution created by the stone crushing industry around Sargodha is affecting the health of the general public. TB is on the increase among those living nearby and the workforce engaged by the industry.”
