QUETTA, Oct 12: Tension prevailed in Kohlu on Saturday as Frontier Corps continued patrolling after extra force was called out as a result of violence on Friday.

The small town presented a deserted look as all bazaars, shops and business centres were closed. The telephone exchange was burnt by a group of protesters.

Sources said former Provincial Minister Mir Mohabbat Khan Marri and his 200 supporters were still in the custody of law-enforcement agencies. The administration has been not able to recover Assistant District Officer who was kidnapped from Kohan area on Friday.
