PESHAWAR, Oct 12: NWFP Information, Sports, Culture, Tourism and Archives Minister Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani on Saturday gave cheques to the widows of Qazi Farad, who had developed a plane, and Iqbal Awan, a journalist.

The cheque given to the widow of Qazi Farhad was of Rs500,000 and a cheque of Rs300,000 was given to the widow of journalist and secretary of Abaseen Arts Council, Iqbal Awan.—PPI
