Death sentence upheld

PESHAWAR, Oct 2: A two-member bench of the Peshawar High Court here on Wednesday upheld the death sentence awarded to an appellant by a trial court for killing a boy.

The bench, comprising Justice Malik Hamid Saeed and Justice Shehzad Akber Khan, observed that the appellant had committed a brutal act by killing the minor boy who was a brilliant student.

The appellant, Taj Ali, had killed Rehman Khan on August 13.
