ISLAMABAD, Sept 27: Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, Sadaki Numata on Friday called on Commerce Minister Abdul Razak Dawood and discussed with him matters relating to enhancement of bilateral trade.
The commerce minister briefed the envoy about the steps taken by the government for boosting trade through obtaining market access in various international markets.
The minister on the occasion also seek the cooperation of the government of Japan for market access to Pakistani products to Japanese markets.
He also told the envoy about the measures taken by the government for the facilitation of business community especially the exporters.
The envoy appreciated the policies of the government for the promotion of exports to different international markets.
He assured cooperation of his country to Pakistan for the promotion of bilateral trade and investment.—APP
